SMS Privacy Policy
Last updated: May 3, 2026
This SMS Privacy Policy describes how Hope Dental Implant Center LLC (“Hope Dental,” “we,” “us,” or “our”) collects, uses, and protects information you provide in connection with our text-message (SMS) program. It supplements our general Online Privacy Policy. If anything in this SMS Privacy Policy conflicts with the general policy with respect to text messaging, this SMS Privacy Policy controls. Use of the SMS program is also governed by our SMS Terms & Conditions.
Information We Collect
When you opt in to or interact with our SMS program, we collect:
- Your mobile telephone number.
- The content of messages you send to us.
- Metadata associated with each message, such as the date and time, your mobile carrier, and message delivery status, as provided by our messaging service provider.
- Identifying information you provide alongside your number, such as your name, email address, or appointment details (typically collected when you submit a request form on our website or speak with our team).
How We Use Your Information
We use mobile information solely to operate the SMS program, including to:
- Send appointment reminders, confirmations, and rescheduling notices.
- Respond to questions you send us about treatment, scheduling, or billing.
- Send treatment follow-up and post-procedure care reminders.
- Provide customer support related to your appointment or care.
- Send occasional announcements about our practice, new services, or promotional offers — only if you have separately consented to marketing messages.
- Maintain records of consent and opt-out, comply with legal obligations, and prevent fraud or abuse of the messaging service.
How We Share Your Information
We do not sell, rent, share, or otherwise disclose your mobile phone number or your SMS opt-in data to any third party or affiliate for that party's marketing or promotional purposes.
We share mobile information only with the service providers necessary to deliver text messages on our behalf — for example, our messaging platform (Twilio Inc.) — and only to the extent required to operate the SMS program. These providers are bound by confidentiality and data-protection obligations and are not permitted to use your mobile information for their own marketing.
We may also disclose mobile information if required to do so by law or in response to a valid legal request (such as a subpoena, court order, or government investigation), or where disclosure is necessary to protect the rights, property, or safety of Hope Dental, our patients, or the public.
Your Choices & How to Opt Out
You can stop receiving text messages from us at any time by replying STOP to any message we send you. After you reply STOP, you will receive a single confirmation message and then no further text messages from us unless you re-enroll. For help, reply HELP. You can also opt out by emailing hopedentalimplantcenter@gmail.com with the mobile number you wish to remove.
Opting out of SMS will not affect your right to receive other communications from us (for example, appointment-related phone calls or email), unless you separately ask us to stop those as well.
Data Retention
We retain your mobile number and SMS records for as long as needed to operate the program, comply with our legal obligations, resolve disputes, and enforce our agreements. After you opt out, we retain a record of your opt-out (the number and date) so that we do not contact you again unless you re-enroll.
Security
We use reasonable administrative, technical, and physical safeguards to protect mobile information from unauthorized access, use, alteration, and disclosure. No system is perfectly secure, however; while we strive to protect your information, we cannot guarantee its absolute security.
Children
Our SMS program is not directed to children under 18. We do not knowingly collect mobile information from children under 18 without verified parental consent. If you believe a child has provided us with mobile information, please contact us so we can delete it.
Changes to This Policy
We may update this SMS Privacy Policy from time to time. The “Last updated” date at the top of this page reflects the most recent revision. Continued participation in our SMS program after changes take effect constitutes acceptance of the revised policy.
